On a Saunalaut cruise you can enjoy the stunning scenery off the coast of Helsinki on the route of your choice. For example, you can explore the Helsinki archipelago by sailing around Mustikkamaa or admire the maritime urban landscape of the Old Town Bay.
During your cruise at the M/S Spa, you can relax in the Rexener and enjoy a warm sauna. On arrival at the ferry, the sauna is already warm and you can immediately go to the chalet to relax. On the cruise, a professional skipper will ensure your comfort and safety. The cruise includes firewood, barbecue gas, disposable containers, music equipment and loaner towels, so you can concentrate on relaxing and enjoying yourself.
You are allowed to bring your own food and drinks on board, so you can plan the cruise programme to suit your taste. For an additional fee, it is also possible to order catering if you wish to leave the cooking to the professionals.
The M/S Spa can accommodate 12 guests and the M/S Sauna 9 guests, so we can cater for groups of up to 21 people. We recommend cruises of at least three hours.

1. Old Town Bay
Admire the maritime urban landscape of the Old Town Bay. This route is well sheltered from the wind and is particularly suitable for those interested in umi. Suitable for cruises of all lengths, as well as for joint cruises with two ferries.
2. Around the blueberry patch
Discover the Helsinki archipelago by taking a tour around the idyllic Mustikkamaa. At the same time, you can see how the Kruunuvuorensilta Bridge is progressing. Duration with swimming breaks approx. 2h
3. My love bed
Spend time in the romantic Love Lagoon and immerse yourself in its beautiful scenery. The lagoon is a sheltered oasis in front of Herttoniemi. Suitable for 3h or more cruises
4. Representation of Helsinki
Explore the magnificent frontage of Helsinki and enjoy the stunning scenery of the archipelago sea. This route is only enjoyable on the M/S Spa with an average wind of 6m/s or less. Cruise duration min 4h.
M/S Sauna – Presentation
Barrel sauna on water! Our second sauna is the 4m x 9m M/S Sauna. On the comfortable sun deck you will find a barbecue, sun loungers and our skipper at the helm. Inside you will find a plush sofa, a dressing area and a sturdy table. The authentic wood-fired sauna can accommodate up to seven people and from the back of the raft you can take a ladder to the Baltic Sea. There is also a chemical toilet at the back of the raft.

M/S Spa – Presentation
The M/S Spa is the perfect setting for a large group to spend an unforgettable summer day. The M/S Spa is our 5m x 12m vessel, where you will find a real wood-fired sauna, washroom, changing rooms and seating for up to 16 people. The lounge is sheltered from the weather and the sun deck at the bow of the ferry offers plenty of space to bask in the sun. The foredeck is also home to a lot. At the rear of the raft is a chemical toilet, a stove firebox and a ladder from which you can swim directly into the Baltic Sea. You will also have access to a quality Weber barbecue, towels and disposable containers. During the cruise, there are 12 guest seats and a berth for 16 people.

Arrival at
The cruise departs from the Mustikkaantie 2 marina in Helsinki, easily accessible by public transport or by car. We recommend arriving in good time, it is possible to get to the sauna board about 5 minutes before departure time. Our staff will meet you at the ferry.
On public roads:
- Metro – Kulosaari station, approx. 1km
- Bus 16 – Mustikkamaa, approx. 250m
With your own car:
There are a few parking spaces in the lower harbour courtyard for the use of customers. More parking spaces can be found next to the Mustikkamaa sports park.
With your own boat:
There are paid guest boat parking spaces available in the port, which work with the Parkman app.
What to bring?
Weather appropriate clothing: It is a good idea to bring weather appropriate clothing. It is always cooler on the water than on land.
Sunscreen: uv radiation is also very strong so sunscreen is recommended.
Swimwear: it is recommended to wear a swimsuit during the cruise, as the ferry is a popular filming location.
Food and drink: you can bring refreshments and snacks of your choice.
Passenger safety is important to us. The ferry has life jackets for all passengers, and our staff will give you safety instructions before the ferry departs. Please also remember to follow the rules and instructions of the ship during your journey.

Booking and cancellation conditions

Cruises and chartered sauna:
Cancellation 8-30 days before cruise = 50% of total price. Cancellation 0-7 days before cruise = 100% of total price (including agreed catering and other additional services)
*If weather conditions do not allow the cruise to be completed safely, the captain may cancel the cruise. In this case, the cruise can be converted into a dock sauna and the difference in the price of the services will be refunded.
Force majeure situations will only be dealt with by telephone.
